Holy Heck!

Ok, so my plan to eat actual meals for dinner recently fell right in line of - dun dun dun: PERIOD WEEK. So... no weight loss at all for the entire week. In fact, I had gained two pounds back - so frustrating when all you want to see is that number go down. But Sunday kicked off another week of my fabulous green smoothie diet - the period is gone and well, I'm down to another pound closer to pre-pregnancy #1 weight only 2 more to go and I'm there. Maybe I'll actually make it PAST 190 for when hubby comes home (I'm 192 today, hubby comes home in 9 days!) I am such a firm believer that your period totally bloats you. I felt really pudgy and "soft" but last night before bed I took a look in the mirror and was like, "geez, I can't believe how much thinner I feel in like only a couple of weeks!" It really is insane. I feel like if I keep this up, I'll be to my goal in no time :)

I have decided this morning to convert my diet to a fully soft foods diet for the next 9 days until hubby comes home. This means, protein shake for breakfast, cottage cheese and fruit, or greek yogurt and egg whites for lunch and a green protein shake for dinner - OH and water water water! It's going to be a challenge, but I feel like I'm up to it. Seeing the number go down on the scale really has me motivated and so do my tight fitting jeans! I want to wear them to pick Anthony up!! LoL

What I'm Doing To Lose Weight Right Now!

Hello everyone!

I'm getting sooo many inquiries on how I lost 8lbs in only 5 days! Thank you all for your support and motivation to keep me going. My main motivation is my husband coming home on the 27th of this month, and my best friend's wedding in mid-October, but believe me, all of the amazement and compliments are really helping! I wanted to share with you my day-to-day. *Read if you have time, this is going to be long.*

6am - Wake up and do a light exercise that I just find from the internet (something that will just get me awake and moving

6:30am - Cup of coffee with some Italian Sweet Cream creamer

8:00am - Breakfast: 1/2 Grapefruit, 2 Hardboiled Eggs, Vanilla Almond Granola with Fruit in Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, Egg Whites and Turkey Bacon
             - Drink 8oz of Water
             - Take my Daily Supplements (I take Centrum, Iron and Sublingual B-12)

10:00am - Drink 8oz of Water

11:00am - Put boys down for a nap and do this workout. Right now, I'm only doing 1 circuit as opposed to the suggested 2-3, not only because I feel that I need to move slowly to get myself back in shape, but because I need to do other things while the boys nap!! lol.

*I WoRkOuT*

Pilates Side Plank with Leg Raises 15 each leg

12:00pm - Lunch: 2 hardboiled eggs and a piece of pepperjack cheese, dill pickle feta cheese mustard and tomato turkey roll up with Mission's Artisan Blue Corn and Flax Seed Tortillas, same thing but with sandwich thins - and like baby carrots or kale chips.
               - Drink 8oz of Water

2:00pm - Drink 8oz of Water
             - Walk with the boys (my route is about 2.2mi)

4:00pm - Drink 8oz of Water

5:00pm - Dinner: Green Smoothie - Believe me, you will LoVe this. YES it's green - NO you can't taste the spinach AT ALL! There are so many variations of the green smoothie, but I'm sticking to one this week mainly because of my budget for grocery shopping... plus it's working, so why fix/change something that's not broken!? OH! By the way, I plan on only doing this smoothie for a week (I'll be finishing up the week on the 8th) then I'll be eating healthy dinners for a week, then go back to the smoothies, etc. I get a lot of recipes from this girl's blog: http://undressedskeleton.tumblr.com/

*ReCiPe*
2cups Spinach
1cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1/2cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1 Frozen Banana
1Tbsp Reduced Fat Peanut Butter
1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
Stick in a blender and mix that bad boy up until all smooth and a nice happy shade of healthy greenness!

Drink up! It's a filling shake - I personally can't ever finish the whole thing because I get so full, so you should be good with being able to replace a whole meal with it!! If not, my suggestion would be to fill up on other healthy snacks - maybe baby carrots, a baked sweet potato with cinnamon sprinkled in it... there are so many ideas that I've found right here off the good ol' internet!

6:00pm - Drink 8oz of Water

9:00pm - Sometimes I end up drinking a nice glass of wine and just relax...

10:00pm - Bedtime!! I haven't done amazing with going to bed by this time, but a few nights I have. I am trying to get at least 8hrs.

Hope this helps everyone! It's really doing good things for me and I hope it will for you too! I'm so excited for my hubby to be coming home and I want to look AmAzInG for him! I have 2 more lbs to loose before getting to the weight I was right before I got pregnant with Carter, I fit into my size 9 jeans, and I feel so good and energetic! Definitely worth the changes that I've made!

xoxo
Jenny

PS: These pics were taken of me on 9/5. I was wearing my size 9 pre-pregnancy jeans that I haven't been able to wear in over 3 years! I COULD NOT get them to button prior to this diet. It's amazing what 8lbs can do! Can't wait to be down another 8 lol! I still have 58lbs to get to my ultimate goal.

Struggles

Well, call me lazy, but even though I've been setting my alarm clock for 5am to wake up and do Insanity, I'm not being motivated enough to actually get up and workout. I just go to sleep so late {working on design stuff to catch up} and sometimes it's 2am before I get into bed. 5am seems like the only comfortable time to workout because the boys aren't awake yet and it's cool outside. I have been trying get a workout in while they are awake, but the baby makes it especially difficult due to him not liking to be in one spot for an extended amount of time. So, while I may have started a workout every day, I haven't gotten through one in the past week! So, I'm definitely not doing very well {in my opinion}.

I feel really bad because I should be motivated because not only do I want to look awesome and fit for my hubby in September when he comes home, I am going to Las Vegas in August and I have my best friend's wedding in October! I just wish these things could be motivation enough for me to be like, "Ok I'm going to bed!" at 9pm and then have myself easily up by 5am. But, the thought of my long work order list getting even more crazy than it already is cringes me, and my motivation to get things done on my list is clearly my strongest motivator right now. I want to only be working on my graphic design part-time, but with how many projects I have, and people needing them fairly quickly, I feel like I just need to work in every ounce of free time that I have. It's definitely struggling me.

On a good note, I think due to eating healthier this week, foods jammed packed with power foods such as black beans, sweet potatoes, avocado, lots of veggies and more vegetarian options, including almond milk, I have lost another pound! 203 makes me the lightest I've been since having Tanner<3 Only 3 more pounds and I'll be out of these miserable 200s!! 3 seems to be such a light number - I feel like I could workout for a day and loose that! Time to get re-situated and get motivated again. Encouragement is well... encouraged! Thanks everyone!

2 Weeks Off = BLEH

Do you ever take a break from working out and then you feel like COMPLETELY guilty and then just like, yucky!? Well, that's the way I felt after taking a two week break to fly out to San Antonio to see my hubby. Believe me, the yucky feeling was totally worth it to be able to see his face again!! I totally planned on working out while I was away too, but it just never happened. Oh well I guess!! I was also eating out at basically every meal, so I was just like, bleh.... but I came home, weighed myself, and actually LOST a pound after being completely sure that I had gained weight on the trip.

But, this morning 5am, I got back at it and started the Insanity program over. I lost track of where I was in it, and I just needed to regroup and get back to it, so I just started with a fresh start! It was great to know that I already accomplished something good by 5:45 in the morning! Now, I feel pumped, like I want to go take the boys for a nice long walk and get all of my pending work done! That's another thing, I have TONS of work that I left unfinished before leaving for Texas. Now, I need to get back to everything and get everything done so no one is waiting around too much longer! Today is all about focus and regrouping, and getting back into the groove!

Oh, I did not reach my goal of being under 200 to see my husband, but I DID get into Miss Me Jeans, and that was basically the same excitement. Last time I tried on the largest size they offer, they only got up to my thighs, this time they pulled all the way up, and buttoned with no issues! So, I bought them.

My next goal? Being at least 190 or under by the time I go see my husband again, maybe beginning of July... can I do it?? I'm sure going to try!

OoOoOhHhHh

Since as soon I was able to after having Tanner, I knew that I wanted to loose weight again but just couldn't seem to get past the 209 mark. I've learned that my body seems to love this number after having babies, because that was my starting weight when I had Carter too! I don't like that my body is comfortable at that number, so I guess I was kind of like "wishing" that my weight would come off. I mean, I would say that my diet was ok, it wasn't SUPER healthy, but it wasn't HORRIBLE either. But I was looking at something through Pinterest recently that caught my eye on small tips on how to loose weight. Things that really are common sense, but it was in a list, and maybe seeing all of those little tips that we all have heard as one offs together on one list, I think it kind of motivated me to be like, "OH THESE are the things that I need to do!" So, along with the new Insanity workout, I decided that these little tips will help assist with my new journey.

If you're interested in seeing this list, check out this pin: http://pinterest.com/pin/89579480057961217/. I love pinterest for health tips - mostly because they are backed by super hot abtastic women, and it just makes it all the more inspiring!

Well, after day 1 of my lifestyle change, cleanse and exercise regimen, I stepped on the scale and - I'm not sure how this happens, but I lost 3lbs - and it put me at the lowest weight that I've been since having Tanner! woop! That just motivated me even more to get at it this morning, so I popped in that Insanity DVD and worked hard. I have to say that I've never done a workout that makes me POUR sweat until now. I mean, seriously dripping on the floor sweaty to where I needed to get a towel to dab my face. It was umm... "Insane". LoL pardon the pun, I had to do it!

I'm really excited to see where the next two weeks lands me - hopefully my clothes fit by the time I get to Texas, well, we have a day before we see Anthony to just hang out, maybe I'll need to do a little shopping ;D

Let the Insanity Begin!

Today is the day that I decided to start the Insanity program! Today was the fit test, which was pretty difficult in it's own right, but was made even more difficult in planking positions due to my very slippery floor... *Note to self: Get a workout mat!! LoL

Otherwise, I think that I did pretty well. I did have difficulty with some of the jumping exercises, but it's not going to be easy to get 200lbs up in the air, so I'm not discouraged. When I get some of the weight off, and build some more muscle, it will get easier! Not making excuses, but I'm pretty sure it's the truth... The point is is that I kept going and kept trying. There was only one time that I had to hit the pause button for a little extra break.

I decided to try Insanity because so many people that I know have tried it and have loved it, seen major results and have recommended it. I still prefer to workout in the gym because when I'm at the gym, I feel like a powerhouse!! But, when I'm at home, I just feel like dancing around my living room like a fool! But, given the circumstances {those being that new baby Tanner isn't old enough to go to the gym daycare yet, and I have to depend on a babysitter to get myself into the gym}, working out at home is the best option! I also really like that I can wake up at 5am and get right to it! That's right - no more Carter coming in to wake my lazy butt up! LET'S DO THIS!!

I'm really motivated right now because in LESS than 2 weeks now, I get to see my HUSBAND who graduates from Air Force Basic Military Training!! EEK I cannot wait. I want to look at least somewhat good and toned for him, as I actually told him that I would really push myself for the full eight weeks he was gone - woops! He doesn't come home until the end of September, so that's 4 months away. Can I do it!? It may not be realistic to get to my goal weight, but I can definitely try to get down and tone up!

I'm also doing Jillian Michael's JumpStart 14-Day Cleanse & Burn starting today, and I've heard really great things about that helping to get the junk out of your body! I'm excited to see how it might help! Also, I got some protein powder and plan on making a shake for my dinners for the next two weeks {until I see Anthony and can go out to dinner for that weekend}! Luckily, since I've had the gastric bypass surgery, shakes fill me up BIG TIME and can usually not even finish a 12oz glass, so I'm thinking this is going to work out great!

Now, off to breakfast with my Father-in-Law! Making a good choice: Egg Whites, Turkey Bacon and a 1/2 English Muffin!

Oh, I made this photo to hang on my fridge and hopefully keep me motivated! I CAN get here!

Rachael in the Newspaper!

If you live in this darling little small town of mine, you may know a girl named Rachael who has recently - in my opinion - made a great impression on our town! She owns one of Lompoc's most fashionable boutiques, Clutch (in which I sometimes like to indulge in after a trip to American Host every now and then), but she also is a hair stylist at one of Lompoc's most adorably cute salons! (By the way, she did my hair once, and I LoVeD it!!)

Anywho, my rant and rave about Miss Rachael all boils down to the fact that in today's Lompoc Record, she wrote an article regarding her recent weight loss of 80lbs - done with not surgery, but plain hard work, diet and exercise. I just had to shout out to Rachael because 3 months into this diet of mine and I'm struggling to loose as much weight as I wanted as I don't exactly have the best dedication to my diet in the whole world... Rachael is really sticking to her guns. I like her attitude of not being motivated by the number on the scale - but being motivated by others who are inspired by her. I can definitely say that I am inspired by this girl - not only in the weight loss department, but because of her entrepreneurship and dedication to making our city a little better. Thank you so much Rachael for everything that you do - you truly are a big inspiration!

Woopity Woo

SoOoOoOo went to the trainer today to get measured - and well, things looked good! She recorded my weight at 197 (at the end of the day with clothes on, might I add)! Also, I've lost about 5" all over my body - my waist was probably the most extreme this time around because I lost 1.5" there. But I lost a good amount in both my hips and thighs too (and some in my bust... laaame).

Anywho, I'm pretty happy about the results and it helps motivate me to keep going.

Oh! Also I did Yoga for the first time in a LOOOOONNNNNGGGG time and it was okay... I remember it being a little more relaxing before - this time the instructor was walking around and talking - which was okay and all - just different then what I expected :)

Measure Up!

So tonight, we will have another trainer meeting and we're getting MEASURED!! AHHH. I don't know how I'm doing - I checked the scale this morning and I'm at 199.4, and things are getting too big for me now, or fitting me again :) I tried on a size 10 pair of work pants that I haven't fit into since I was like 2 months preggers and now they fit with room... size 10 jeans... not so much :P

Anywho, in the spirit of getting measured tonight, I figured that I should PROBABLY post some pics of me "before". It's a little late, but better that I start now than not at all... right?? I'll let you know how I'm doing in my measurements later tonight or tomorrow!

Girl Scouts. Cute Little Angels or....

WHY!!!!!!!

Ok, so I was going over to WalMart today to pick up some things for Carter's 1st Birthday Party today, and low and behold... there they are. GIRL SCOUTS. Sure, they look like cute little angels with their little sashes and badges and their little hats... but then they ask you the question. You know what question I'm talking about. The one no human can turn down ESPECIALLY when you know they only come around one time a year - "Do you want to buy some Girl Scout cookies?"

So, I cracked. I bought ONE box of Tagalongs. Those chocolately, peanut buttery, cookie crunch ones that taste AMAZING when frozen... yeah those. So I ate two, dumped (gastic bypass side effect) and stopped. Then I gave one to Carter for a snack - he didn't finish it but with every bite he was like "MMMMM".

All in all, I guess it's ok to cheat every now and then. As far as I know I'm still under 200, and I took some pictures this morning and was happy with how they looked. YAY!

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!

Ok, so I woke up sick yesterday, completely exhausted, unmotivated, nauseous, and didn't want one thing to eat or drink. So, when I got home and changed in some jammies, I thought to myself, wow, my calves look smaller... I was pretty happy so I went on the scale pre-sunday weigh in. Drum Roll Please....

199.6!!!

I'm sOoOoOo excited! It took me being a little sick to get over the bump, but this morning I was still there and I'm hoping that it continues to go down a bit. I'm not going to be able to make it to the gym this week at all (at least till Monday) because I'm getting ready for Carter's 1st Birthday Party on Sunday. Running around like a chicken with my head cut off! AHHH haha. I still have a few things I need to pick up tonight (hopefully everything is in stock) and then decorating/cleaning tomorrow - as well as some birthday parties for Carter's friends! Busy Busy weekend! I'm so excited though!

Gym Day!

PHEW! I haven't been to the gym in almost a week and it felt soooo good to get back! (It's funny that I say that now because before I even started going to the gym, I hadn't been there at least since I was about 36 weeks pregnant.) Anywho, I was feeling bleh and now I'm pumped again!! I even ran for 3 minutes straight - unheard of for me! I'm pretty sure that I haven't done that in well - my whole life. It may not sound like a lot, but I used to walk for 2 minutes, run for a minute and do that over and over. But ToDaY... I walked for 1 minute and ran for 3 minutes over and over. I have to give myself a little pat on the back for that one. I also worked on my arms (mostly triceps) tonight using 12.5lbs weights - it's crazy because every I lift - I can see my sternum now... ewwww.

For dinner today, I made us some baked boneless, skinless chicken breast seasoned with lemon pepper, balsamic asparagus, and a biscuit. (Yeah, I know the biscuit wasn't the best choice, but it was getting late and I had some in the fridge from breakfast on Sunday... lol.)

AnYwHo, just thought I'd share - I hope you have a great day and have fun ShapingUP!

WOO HOO!

So, I probably didn't tell you this before, but my hubby said that I am no longer allowed to step on the scale every morning. I'm allowed to once a week on Sunday mornings so I can start my week off right and know where I am and how hard I need to push. It scares me to do this because I love seeing daily results to see how hard I need to push for that day... Also, what if I worked SOOO hard all week and either the scale doesn't budge or it goes up... I think that might really depress me. But, I went ahead and took his advice and I haven't weighed myself in a while.

The scale read 201 this morning!! YAY! Now, I know to push push push and perhaps I'll get out of my rut of being in the 200s!! I'm so nervous on what that scale is going to say next week. But I have been getting a lot of compliments on how my body looks lately, from my hubby, to family, to friends... I can even see my body toning up a bit.

So I'm overall pretty happy with the way things have been going for the last month and a half. We've had a great lifestyle change - going to the gym 3 times a week, eating healthy meals for all of our meals, and working on our time management (not completely there but I'm sure we'll figure that all out soon). But it really has been going great this year and I'm looking forward to be healthy and fit for Carter who - as a young boy - will need his parents to be. I guess I have to say that I'm pretty happy right now!

ZUMBA Tonight!

Ah finally!!! I get to go back to my Zumba class! Did you know that a single Zumba class can let your body burn up to 600 calories!?!? I LoVe IT!

I haven't been able to go lately because trainer meetings have been during class times, but we're not meeting until Friday this week so YAY I get to go tonight! I think that has really been why I haven't been seeing much results on the scale in the last couple of weeks. I'm pretty sure that I'm gaining a lot of muscle, but as of right now, that's on top of fat... but hopefully pretty soon, that muscle will start eating the fat.

My plan is to start going back to Zumba and maybe meeting the trainer on the other days so then I might be able to combine a great cardio workout with a great resistance training workout for maximum results!

I do have a slight confession to make :/ I went out with my friend Brooke last night, and was pretty naughty and strayed from my diet. I had buffalo balls, and a couple slices of cheese pizza... and a Cosmo. Oye. WHY DO I CHEAT MYSELF LIKE THAT!? I love the food I eat when I'm eating it, then right after I'm like "WhAt DiD I Do!?!?" oh well, I guess a slap on the wrist is necessary and we're back into strict diet mode.

Ok, have you ever heard of Quinoa? Can't pronounce it?? It's pronounced "KEEN-wha". I'm very interested in trying it as it is considered a "super grain" but it's not a grain actually. It's very high in protein and full of lots of good stuff for you. I really want to explore this because I'm so into starchy sides - so this could be a great alternative to having brown rice everyday. Have you tried Quinoa?

TODAY is the day

Ok, so things really haven't gone as planned, by now, I was hoping to be at LEAST -20lbs, and back in my pre-pregnancy jeans... but I haven't lost that much, and I'm not back in my pre-pregnancy jeans. In fact, I'm currently at -2lbs from my starting weight, and while I can see my body taking some shape, and my face is thinner, the number on the scale is far from reflecting anything.

Now, you're probably saying, "you're just replacing fat with muscle" and yeah, you're probably right since my workouts with the trainer have been 99% resistance training. But confession time - I really want to loose weight through both cardio and resistance training.

So I've come to realize that my workouts CANNOT stop at weight resistance training. I was doing very well loosing weight in Zumba, but now my training meetings are at the same time. I'm going to suggest to my trainer that I do a Zumba class before our meetings so I can get that 600 calories burned. I'm turning it on and up today - even though I've been sick for the weekend.

I know you just read that and thought "weight gain, sickness... hmmm, hi mrs. pregger pants!" NO I'M NOT PREGNANT! I took a test on Friday night and Sunday morning - both were negative. I think I've just been eating a lot of junk food starting Friday at lunch and my body isn't used to eating that stuff anymore so it must have went into shock or something... who knows. But I have thrown up at least once everyday for the past three days... ugh so lame.

But I'm trucking and starting TODAY I'm not cheating anymore - none of these "2 cheat meals a week" things - I'm taking control and eating healthy healthy healthy until I get to where I want to be. I watched a video that was quite helpful in diet planning, so I want to share it with you - some of the information surprised me.

MOVE SCALE!!!

So, I haven't been on here in a while, but that's because not much has been going on lately... I haven't seen much movement on the scale, so I haven't seen much I needed to talk about.

I had a FaBuLoUs birthday celebration! We went wine tasting on Saturday, and got to hang out with lots of girlies and just have a great time! My mommy got me lots of little goodies which was fun - I got aviator sunnies, cute headbands, a cute blouse and a few other things which were awesome! Thanks Mom!! Anthony got me a spa day!! YESS!!! I can't wait to indulge in that!!

Last night, I had another trainer meeting, we did a pilates-based workout to work the core. My lower abs are sooo weak!! Anything that involved picking my legs 6in off the floor... yeah, didn't work very well for me. But I believe that I got a nice little workout in. I even ran for 2 minutes straight at the 5.5 level! (Yeah, that may not sound like much, but it is for me!!)

Also, while I may not be seeing results on the scale, I am noticing my body changing. Jeans are very loose (I can take them off without unzipping or unbuttoning), my little angel wings are going away and my face is thinning out and I'm starting to be able to see some rib bones and sternum bones... it grosses me out, but that's when I know that I'm loosing fat weight. It would be nice, however, if the scale reflected that at some point. I've been stuck at 204 since like 1/29... It would just be soooo nice to make it under that 200 mark anytime soon.

By the way, Carter had his first "big boy" meal last night - SOOO cute! He had chicken and asparagus and ate it alllll up! Loved every bite! I can't believe how much our little man has grown up. I definitely need to keep up my optimism about the gym and getting in shape - he's going to be a handful if I don't (or I guess, even if I do AHHH!!!!). Have a great day guys! Thanks for reading!

It's My Birthday!!

Well, today is my birthday and I am 25 years old - 1/4 of a century! I may even be considered an "antique" I think! lol.

Anywho, last night I worked out pretty hard, ran/jogged for about 20 minutes and did some resistance training (mostly leg work, I did 100 Hip Abductions with 100lbs of resistance!!), then, came home and made Lemon Peper Balsamic Pork Chops and Asparagus. It was very tasty! But my legs hurt like a mofo.

I got on the scale this morning and I'm back at 202... I know I'll be back up though after tonight! We're going to dinner at Root 246 in Solvang for my birthday, and I may splurge juuuuussst a little bit :D You only turn 25 once right???

Anywho, I hope everyone is having a great day! Thanks for following ShapeUP!

Wow... PLUS Ideas for Dinner

Ok, so the first week of success was SUPER fun! I lost 8lbs, I was feeling great, and having a blast dieting and going to the gym.

NoOoOoOwWwWw... I've gained almost all of my weight back (206 on the scale today) and I'm dreading our gym day tomorrow. I was sure that I would have lost weight this morning as we walked all over State St. in Santa Barbara yesterday. But no, body decided to gain like 4lbs overnight instead. Hoping it's water weight and not to have TMI, but I have been experiencing "that time of the month" so hopefully that's mostly it... diet hasn't change very much so I just don't know what's going on.

If you want some GREAT ideas for some healthy dinner meals, go here: http://www.momswhothink.com/healthy-recipes/healthy-dinner-recipes.html each recipe is pretty quick to cook, and you can see the nutrition facts for each one as well! I love it! Hope it helps you out too!

Ouch!

Last night, my trainer worked out my arms... yeah, OUCH! They are sooo sore, but I know it will help. Still 203 this morning... not excited about that. But, we did have Carl's Jr. last night too just because neither one of us wanted to do anything that had to involve our arms - including cooking. We looked online at our calorie consumption from there... let's not talk about it.

We realized that it would have been nothing for us to usually just go out and grab something like that 2-5 times a week - maybe even more! No wonder we were so out of shape and had no energy! It's amazing how once you cut something that's bad for you out - how much you want it. We definitely have food addiction going on in our house. It's hard, but we'll get through it.

Going to Santa Barbara with the parental units today - that should be fun. The little man loves going down there and walking around. I love it there.

Please Keep Your Arms, Legs, Fingers and Toes inside the Cart at All Times...

Oye Vye.

Here I am back up to 203 this morning after being 201 yesterday. I love how my body loves playing tricks on me and sending me on a roller coaster ride! NOT.

It was so nice loosing that first 5lbs in one week, now, I can't seem to budge past that little hill that I need to get through to get under 200. We are on diet day 20... I'm just about sick of having nothing but baked chicken and spinach salad, and not seeing any results! I'm still going to stick to my guns though. I'm hoping that it's just my body's adjustment period and that maybe next week or the week after I'll see the pounds start melting off again.

It's really hard that most people can eat whatever they want and not feel guilty about it and can maintain a healthy weight... I've been eating nothing but healthiness, working out more than I have in YEARS, and I'm just stuck. My body hates me.

With that being said - I feel that I may need some encouragement and motivation today as I forgot my lunch at home, and now I'm left without any snacks/food to eat for the day. If I don't go pick something up, I'll probably be STARVING before the gym and then binge. I don't want to do that, but it's something that I tend to do if I don't eat all day. Self-Control Jenny... Self-Control.
